Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive key business decisions, enhance operational efficiencies, and provide insights into customer behaviour. You will work closely with various departments, including Product, Marketing, and Operations, to provide data-driven recommendations that improve our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and organize large sets of data from multiple sources, including customer usage data, service performance metrics, and sales data.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to track key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and customer behaviours.
- Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in both our internet and security system offerings.
- Data-driven Decision Making: Provide actionable insights to internal teams, helping them optimize business processes, improve customer satisfaction, and drive product development.
- Predictive Analytics: Use statistical techniques and machine learning models to forecast demand, service usage patterns, and potential security threats for both home and business clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to analyze and optimize the user experience, ensuring our solutions meet customer needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in the development and refinement of data analysis processes and tools to ensure data integrity, efficiency, and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-driven role, preferably in a tech, telecommunications, or security environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and querying.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and ability to apply statistical methods to solve real-world business problems.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the telecommunications or home security industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning models and predictive analytics.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

Job Title: Sales Consultant - Home & Business Internet and Security Systems
Location: Canada / Remote
Job Description:
As a Sales Consultant at The Salesters, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by selling our suite of internet and security products to both residential and business clients. You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing exceptional service that addresses the needs of our customers. This role requires a consultative sales approach, where your goal is to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Identify and prospect new leads through a variety of channels, including phone calls, emails, networking events, and referrals.
- Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing them with expert recommendations and customized solutions for their home or business internet and security needs.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations with prospective clients to showcase the benefits of our solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Negotiation & Closing: Develop and present competitive proposals, handle objections, and negotiate contracts to close sales and meet revenue targets.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the customer support, product, and installation teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
- Sales Reporting & Tracking: Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and closed sales, using CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a sales role, preferably in the technology, telecommunications, or security industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and sell complex solutions to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Comfortable with technology and the ability to understand and explain complex internet and security systems to customers.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipeline and customer interactions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple client accounts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consultative sales and working with both residential and business customers.
- Knowledge of internet service providers or home/business security systems is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
